Second-seeded UC Davis falls to third-seeded Cal Poly in Friday's semifinals
2016-17: Finished the season with an 18-8 overall singles record and a 9-6 mark in doubles play... Spent time at three different spots in the singles lineup, posting a season-best 7-3 record at No. 5, while going unbeaten in three matches combined at No. 4 and No. 6... Tied teammate Everett Maltby with four wins in five matches against Big West competition... Won his final three singles matches of the regular season, and nine of 11 during final two months... At one point, he won four straight singles contests in March... During the fall, he opened the season with six straight singles wins, including a singles title at the Aggie Invitational with a perfect 5-0 record in his flight... Also reached the doubles final of his flight at the Aggie Invitational and gained the round of 32 at the ITA Northwest Regionals... During the regular season, advanced to the consolation quarterfinals at the Pacific Coast Men's Doubles Championships in La Jolla, Calif., alongside teammate David Goulak.
2015-16: ALL-BIG WEST SECOND TEAM DOUBLES... ITA SCHOLAR-ATHLETE... Finished 11-8 overall and 5-4 in dual matches in singles at three different spots in the lineup... Ended the season 15-10 overall in doubles, including an 8-7 mark in dual matches... Spent most of the season alongside Brett Bacharach in doubles en route to all-conference honors at the No. 2 spot in the lineup with a 6-5 record... Also was 2-2 at the No. 3 spot... In the fall, claimed the Flight "B" consolation singles title and the Flight "B" main draw doubles crown at the Pacific Tiger Invitational.
2014-15: ITA SCHOLAR-ATHLETE... Finished 9-3 overall and 6-2 in dual matches in singles during his first season as an Aggie... Competed at the No. 4-6 positions in the lineup, posting a 3-1 record at No. 6... Sandwiched a six-match winning streak inbetween a pair of losses from Jan. 24-April 10, including a three-set win over Axel Damiens from No. 49 Cal Poly... Finished 8-3 in doubles with four different partners, all but two of those in dual match play... Joined teammates Brett Bacharach, Everett Maltby, and Alec Adamson, for a five-match winning streak from Feb. 15-March 5.
BROWN UNIVERSITY: Played only the fall season with the Bears, posting a 7-3 singles record and a 2-2 mark in doubles play... Won his singles flight at the Brown Invitational, defeating Fredrik Bjerke of Marist, 6-5, 6-7, 10-3, in the finals... Posted a trio of singles wins at the Penn Invitational against opponents from Lehigh, Buffalo, and the host Quakers... Also finished 1-1 in singles at the Harvard Halloween Invitational.
ARROYO GRANDE HS '13: A four-star recruit out of high school according to the website Tennis Recruiting.net... Ranked as high as No. 82 in the nation and No. 25 in California... Four-time PAC7 League MVP, four-time league singles champion, and helped lead the Eagles to their first-ever CIF team title in 2013 as well as four league crowns... Lost just once en route to a 100-1 record as Arroyo Grande's No. 1 singles player... Won the 16s division of the 112th Ojai Valley Junior Tennis Tournament in 2012 as the No. 9 seed.
PERSONAL: Parents are Ken and Kristi... Has a sister, Sophie.
