Hampered by rain delays, UC Davis falls a game short of victory

2016-17: Finished the season with a 12-7 overall record in singles and a 7-3 mark in doubles overall... Was a perfect 2-0 at the No. 6 spot in the singles lineup, posting wins over opponents from Nevada and Saint Mary's... Eight of his 10 doubles contests came during the fall season, where he teamed up with Everett Maltby to win their doubles flight at the Aggie Invitational and joined Eli Whittle to reach the round of 32 at the ITA Northwest Regionals... Won his first five doubles contests to start the fall... Reached the round of 16 in the main draw singles bracket of the ITA Northwest Regionals, posting wins over opponents from Stanford, Oregon, and Gonzaga, before falling.

2015-16: BIG WEST CONFERENCE ALL-ACADEMIC TEAM... Finished 14-11 overall and 9-3 in dual match singles play at four different spots in the lineup... Ended the year with wins in both of his Big West Conference duals... Finished 4-2 at No. 6, 3-1 at No. 5, and 1-0 at both No. 1 and No. 2... Won his last three singles duals on the year -- all in straight sets -- and won four straight at one point during the season from Jan. 27-Feb. 2... Finished 10-2 overall in doubles on the year, but competed just three times during the dual match season, ending up 2-1 at the No. 3 spot in the lineup alongside Tommy Lam (1-0) and Eli Whittle (1-1)... Won eight of his nine doubles contests during the fall, including a pair of main draw doubles titles at the UCSB Classic and Pacific Tiger Invitational.

2014-15: Finished 17-11 overall in singles and 9-3 in doubles play in his first season with the Aggies... Played at four different spots in the lineup for UC Davis, finishing 11-6 in dual match contests, including a 6-3 mark at the No. 6 position... Tied for fifth on the team in overall wins and was one of six Aggies in double-digit dual match wins... Won five straight singles contests at one point during the season from Jan. 23-Feb. 16... All but two of his dual matches were decided in straight sets, but was 2-0 in three-set contests... In doubles during the fall, teamed with Tommy Lam to win their flight at the UCSB Classic... Joined Alec Adamson to win his only dual match doubles contest against Sonoma State on Feb. 22.

SANTA CLARA: Finished 3-9 in singles during his freshman season (2013-14) with the Broncos at, primarily, the No. 5 or No. 6 position... Posted his first collegiate victory over Gonzaga's Pablo Mosquera in straight sets, 6-4, 6-4, on March 2... Edged San Francisco's Rich Van Hout in three sets, 6-4, 6-7, 6-3, on March 7, and posted a shutout of Willamette University's Blake Brash, 6-0, 6-0, on March 28 for his other two victories... Finished 3-6 in doubles play with teammate Mikheil Khmiadashvili, primarily at the No. 3 spot in the lineup... Biggest doubles win of the year came against the No. 57-ranked team of Jonas Meinzer and Milen Ianakiev from San Diego State, 8-7, on Feb. 20.

LAUREL SPRINGS HS '13: A four-star recruit out of high school according to the website, he was ranked as high as No. 85 in the nation, and No. 23 in the state, following his senior season... Ranked the No. 9 singles player in Southern California.

PERSONAL: Parents are David and Robyn... Has an older brother, Travis.
