2003-04: Finished 7-7 in singles, 5-4 against D-I opposition... Compiled 5-3 mark at No. 6... Won four straight matches from Mar. 6 through Apr. 4... Posted 3-2 mark in doubles, all during fall while paired with Kyle Trinosky.

2002-03: Posted 3-10 record in singles, including 2-7 at No. 3 in duals... Beat Nevada's Daniel Ericsson in split sets to open his spring season... Had 3-10 mark in doubles, mostly with Eric Holmes (2-4) and Charles Nuwer (1-4)... Roberts/Holmes beat Hawaii-Hilo's No. 3 tandem of Chico Jung/Kevin Yamauchi, 8-3, in NCAA West Regional first round.

2001-02: Went 3-5 in singles, 2-2 in doubles (with Daniel Furman)... Beat Nevada's Brett Blitzer, 6-1, 6-4 at Pacific during the fall season... Appeared in duals at No. 5 (0-1) and No. 6 (1-2) positions.

CARLSBAD HS '01: Twice won Avocado League singles titles... Named North County Player of the Year as a junior... Went undefeated in league play as a senior, reaching San Diego Section quarterfinals... Voted first-team All-San Diego County that year... Ranked No.41 in USTA/SoCal Boys 18 division in 2000.

PERSONAL: Born July 22, 1982 in Camp Pendleton, Calif... Economics major... Parents are William & Susan Roberts... Would like to play basketball at UC Davis if not for tennis... Sister, Leigh, plays tennis at UC San Diego.
