2012-13: BIG WEST ACADEMIC ALL-CONFERENCE HONOREE... NCAA POSTGRADUATE SCHOLARSHIP RECIPIENT...Toki Sherbakov is the third Aggie in the Div. I era to earn the scholarship, joining gymnast Katie Yamamura and women's tennis student-athlete Randi Schuler...The spring sports edition of the $7,500 scholarship, given to 29 male and 29 female student-athletes combined from the Div. I, Div. II and Div. III ranks, is an extremely competitive award based on based on academic achievement, athletic accomplishment, community service and leadership...Crafted a 7-12 singles record, all as UC Davis' top singles player... Alongside Adam Levie, the pair won 11 of 20 doubles matches, all as the team's No. 1 doubles pairing... Early in the season, Sherbakov won three of four singles matches against Sonoma State (1/25), George Fox (2/1) and Seattle (2/2)... Opened the season with doubles triumphs in seven of the first nine matches played... Ended the season with wins in three of his last four matches, including a 9-8 result against Pacific at the Big West Tournament.
2011-12: BIG WEST ALL-CONFERENCE SINGLES FIRST TEAM... BIG WEST ALL-CONFERENCE DOUBLES HONORABLE MENTION... Finished with a 10-12 dual match record as the Aggies' sole No. 1 singles player, posting a 5-3 record in final eight matches of the season... Paired with Josh Albert for a 3-5 doubles record, including a 3-2 mark at the No. 2 position... The duo defeated Pacific's Erik Cederwall and Alex Hamilton 8-3 in the first round of the Big West Tournament on Apr. 27... Compiled eight wins in doubles play with various partners... All-Big West Conference Spring Academic selection.
2010-11: Battled through injuries to finish with a 2-7 singles record in dual matches... Played three matches at the No. 1 singles spot and had a 1-2 mark... Posted a 3-2 singles record in fall competition... Had a combined 2-10 record in doubles play during dual matches, finishing with a 2-7 mark at the No. 2 position... Added a 1-2 record in doubles play during the fall schedule.
2009-10: SINGLES SECOND-TEAM ALL-BIG WEST CONFERENCE... Went 13-8 in singles and 8-12 in doubles... Served as the No. 2 singles player for the majority of the season, finishing with a 7-4 record... Also had a 2-1 record at No. 1 singles and a 3-1 mark at No. 3 singles... Recorded a 1-2 record in singled during the fall... Had a 0-2 mark in doubles during the fall... Bounced around in doubles play, finishing with a 4-6 record at the No. 2 position, 1-1 mark at the No. 1 position and 3-3 record at the No. 3 position.
MOUNTAIN VIEW HS `09: Won 44 matches with just five losses in his prep career... All matches were played at No. 1... Named Most valuable player as a sophomore and received Mentor's Award as a senior... Posted an 11-1 singles mark as a senior... Team competed in the Santa Clara Valley Athletic League.
PERSONAL: Born in Berkeley, Calif... Majoring in applied mathematics... Parents are Elena and Oleg Sherbakov... Proudest personal accomplishment is climbing the highest peak on the island of Oahu...
