2016-17: ALL-BIG WEST CONFERENCE SECOND TEAM DOUBLES... Finished ranked No. 8 in the ITA Northwest Region for doubles alongside teammate David Goulak... Ended the season with a 10-6 overall record (4-1 in duals) in singles, playing at the No. 5 and No. 6 spots in the lineup... Finished second on the team with 23 overall wins and tied for the top spot with 14 dual match victories in doubles... Split time between the top two spots in the doubles lineup, finishing 7-5 at the No. 1 spot and 7-1 at No. 2... Ended the year a perfect 4-0 against Big West opponents in doubles... Won 15 of his final 17 doubles contests overall to close out the season (with two unfinished) alongside Goulak and Alec Adamson... Joined Goulak to upset UC Santa Barbara's No. 19-ranked tandem of Simon Freund and Morgan Mays... During the fall, reached the finals of his flight in doubles along with Goulak at the Aggie Invitational and advanced to the semifinals of the ITA Northwest Regionals in Berkeley, Calif.
2015-16: BIG WEST CONFERENCE ALL-ACADEMIC TEAM... ITA SCHOLAR-ATHLETE... Finished the season 14-10 overall in singles, including a 9-4 record in dual match play at the Nos. 4, 5, and 6, spots in the UC Davis lineup... Spent the majority of the singles season at No. 6 singles, where he posted a 4-4 record, but was unbeaten at the No. 5 spot in the lineup, finishing the year 4-0... Led the Aggies with a 23-6 overall record in doubles during the season, including a 12-4 mark in dual matches... Combined with teammate Bryce McKelvie to go 10-1 at No. 3 doubles and 17-2 overall on the year... In singles, he clinched the Aggies' upset of No. 33 Pepperdine with a three-set win over Jack Van Slyke, 2-6, 7-6, 6-2, and also provided the winning point against Portland over Felix Fan, 6-4, 0-6, 6-4, to clinch the title at the inaugural Golden State Invitational... Finished 5-6 in singles during the fall and 11-2 in doubles, including titles at the Aggie Invitational and UCSB Classic.
2014-15: ALL-BIG WEST CONFERENCE HONORABLE MENTION DOUBLES... Finished 6-6 overall in singles and won his only dual match contest at the No. 6 spot against Holy Names on Feb. 16... Joined teammate James Wade to earn honorable mention honors in doubles, finishing 13-6 overall and 11-4 in duals... Lam and Wade finished second on the team in overall doubles wins and led the team in dual match doubles victories... Finished 9-4 at the No. 3 spot in the doubles lineup and won both of their contests at the No. 2 position... Won six straight decisions from Jan. 23-Feb. 16... Took home victories in each of their Big West Conference matches against Cal Poly and UC Riverside... Reached the consolation singles finals at the UCSB Classic during the fall.
LAUREL SPRINGS SCHOOL '14: Ranked as high as No. 17 in Hong Kong in 2012 and was a member of the Hong Kong Boys 16-and-under team that placed ninth at the Junior Davis Cup that same year... Twice captured the Hong Kong National Junior Tennis Championships in singles in 2008 and 2010... Helped the Diocesan Boys' School team to a pair of Inter-School Tennis Compeition Division I championships... Ranked as high as No. 267 in the International Tennis Federation rankings.
