DAVIS, Calif. - The UC Davis men's tennis team fell to local rival Sacramento State 6-1 in a nonconference match, with Kyle Miller scoring the win for the Aggies in No. 4 singles on Sunday at the Marya Welch Tennis Center.

UC Davis (1-5) lost all three doubles matches and the first three singles matches, as the Hornets (4-5) clinched their fifth consecutive win over the Aggies.

UC Davis played without their No. 1 singles player, Toki Sherbakov, for the third consecutive match. In the No. 1 singles position No. 19 ranked Kiryl Harbatsiuk defeated Nick Lopez, 6-2, 6-1. Connor Coates managed to win four games in each set in No. 2 singles, falling 6-4, 6-4 to Jason Smith.

Miller was the bright spot for the Aggies, bouncing back from his match on Saturday to defeat Javier Millan in No. 4 singles, 7-5, 6-4. Chris Aria, George Horowitz and Alec Haley lost in their matches in the No. 3, 5 and 6 positions, respectively.

UC Davis will be back in action next weekend, playing at Saint Mary's on Saturday, Feb. 26 at 12 p.m.
