With the win the Aggies improve to 3-7 and avenge a loss to Pomona earlier in the season.
UC Davis came out strong by taking two of the three doubles points. Lee and Dilloway won their eighth-straight match as they defeated Andy Roland and Seamus Sullivan, 8-0, at No.1. Barasch and Kyle Trinosky earned the other Aggie doubles point, defeating David Nguyen and Nguyen Than, 8-5, at No.2.
In singles play, Lee had little trouble with Roland, defeating the Broncos No.1 player, 6-1, 6-2. Dilloway earned another point at No.2, taking a 7-5, 6-0 win over Than. Barasch defeated Sullivan in straight sets at No.4 and Charlie Nuwer captured a third-set super-tiebreaker for the 3-6, 6-1, (10-8) win over Tristin Edwards at No.6.
The Aggies will next be in action on Sunday when they host the University of San Francisco at Hickey Courts. Matchtime is set for noon.
