RIVERSIDE, Calif. - The UC Davis men's tennis team won all but one singles match in straight sets and swept UC Riverside, 7-0, on Saturday afternoon for the Aggies' first Big West Conference win of the season.

The Aggies (8-11, 1-4 Big West) have won back-to-back matches on their season-ending road trip, after also knocking off Loyola Marymount, 4-3, on Friday.

UC Davis wraps up the regular season on Sunday at UC Irvine.

Against the Highlanders on Saturday, the Aggies won at No. 1 and No. 3 to claim the doubles point before carrying that momentum into singles play.

Toki Sherbakov, Parker Kelley, Brett Bacharach, Hugo Verdi-Fortin and George Horowitz all won their singles matches in straight sets while Kyle Miller won in three sets.

Miller, whose three-set win on Friday at LMU clinched the win, won 6-1, 6-2 after dropping the first set, 1-6. Verdi-Fortin was dominant at No. 5 singles, where he won 6-1, 6-2.

After wrapping up the regular season on Sunday, the Aggies will head to the Big West Tournament in Indian Wells, Calif., next week.
