FIRST SERVE: The UC Davis men's tennis team broke their losing streak last weekend after getting a dual match victory over San Francisco, 5-2, at the Marya Welch Tennis Center. Going into this weekend, the Aggies are scheduled to participate in three matches. On Friday and Saturday (Feb. 9-10), UC Davis will meet with Washington at 2:00 p.m., and then Portland, respectively, at the Nordstrom Tennis Center, and on Sunday (Feb. 11), the men's tennis team will round out their road weekend with a dual match against Gonzaga's team in Spokane, Wash.

TEAM AND INDIVIDUAL RANKINGS: According to the ITA Rankings released on Feb. 7, none of these weekend's teams are ranked among the top 25; however, for rankings related to individual play, Portland's Michail Pervolarakis is ranked No. 21 in singles, while Washington's Jake Douglas ranks behind in 48th.

ABOUT THE HUSKIES: Washington currently holds a 4-1 overall record, falling only to their dual match with No. 17 Michigan on Jan. 19. As a team, the Huskies are 24-6 in singles play, and 11-3 in doubles play. Individually, Jake Douglas leads their scoreboard with a perfect 5-0 record in singles, three of which were earned being at the No. 1 position, while partners Kawika Lam and Enzo Sommer lead the Dawgs in doubles play with their 5-1 overall record.

ABOUT THE PILOTS: Prior to their morning matchup with Idaho the day before they meet on the courts with UC Davis, Portland carries a 2-3 overall record, and are 15-10 and 5-8 in singles and doubles play, respectively. The Pilot's No. 21 nationally-ranked singles player Michail Pervolarakis is 4-0 in singles for dual matches, while partners Carlos Donat and Jamie Fisher lead the scoreboard with a perfect 2-0 doubles record for dual matches.

ABOUT THE BULLDOGS: Gonzaga's men's tennis team enter's the match with UC Davis carrying a perfect 5-0 record, where each of those five games were all at home and all 7-0 Bulldog victories over their opponents. As a team, Gonzaga carries a perfect 30-0 singles record for dual matches, while being 12-3 in doubles play. Leading their scoreboard in singles play for the dual season is Kyle Everly, who has a 5-0 record so far, and in doubles play, Bulldog tandems of Everly and Vincent Rettke, as well as Hunter Egger and Simon Homedes Dualde are both 4-1 in the dual season.
