DAVIS, Calif. - UC Davis men's tennis hosted the third leg of the ITA Northern California Summer Circuit from July 20-22 at the Marya Welch Tennis Center.
In singles play, Luba won his first round match handily, 6-1, 6-2, and advanced through the second round, 6-3, 6-3, before losing, 6-2, 6-1, to the tournament's No. 1 seed in the third round on Sunday.
Haley also advanced to the third round before losing, with a 6-3, 6-2 win in the first and a 7-5, 6-4 victory in the second.
McKelvie earned a bye through the first round and won his second round match, 6-7, 7-5, 10-6 on Saturday before falling in the third round.
McKelvie and Luba paired together to advance to the third round in doubles as well. The duo won 8-1 in the first round and 8-6 in the second before dropping an 8-3 decision in the third.
Haley also played doubles, but not with an Aggie. He and his teammate won 8-4 in the first round and 8-1 in the second round before suffering an 8-6 defeat in the third round.

The ITA Summer Circuit includes nine regional tours with four stops each in July. Each region feeds into the USTA/ITA National Summer Championships, held from August 10-13 at the University of Indiana.
The Northern California Summer Circuit includes stops at Saint Mary's (July 6-8), Pacific (July 13-15), UC Davis (July 20-22) and Sonoma State (July 27-29).
