DAVIS, Calif.- Nearly 70 Div. I men's tennis players will descend on the Marya Welch Tennis Center for the Aggie Invitational, hosted by UC Davis Oct. 5-7.
The 11-team field includes some of the top competition on the West Coast, including Cal, Fresno State, Nevada, Pacific, Sacramento State, Santa Clara, Saint Mary's and San Francisco. The three-day tournament will showcase three singles flights and two doubles flights.
The event marks the debut of first-year head coach Eric Steidlmayer who arrives at UC Davis after 14 seasons at UC San Diego. He inherits a veteran squad with a roster of three seniors, three juniors and three freshmen.
