2000: Placed 8th in 400 hurdles (55.48 in prelims) at CCAA Championships... Had season-best 54.76 at early-season home meet.

HAMPTON (Va.): Captured Mid-Eastern Athletic Conference titles at both indoor and outdoor meets... Also placed 3rd in MEAC in cross country.

LAGUNA CREEK HS ’98: Three year MVP in track... Also played wide receiver for football team.

PERSONAL: Born Oct. 17, 1980 in Sacramento, Calif.... Triple-majoring in political science, communication and psychology... Worked for the Department of Justice in the Attorney General’s press office... Chose UC Davis because it has “the best coaches in the country.”
