Vowell scores four; UC Davis rallied back from halftime deficit to a 9-9 tie

2012: Scored 26 goals with 19 assists in 31 games... Totaled 465 minutes played... Ranked 2nd on team with 18 field blocks while earning 11 steals... Enjoyed eight multi-goal games, including hat trick vs. Air Force (9/29).

2011: Broke out to 374 minutes in 33 games, scoring 25 goals with 14 assists, 13 steals, 9 drawn kickouts and 6 field blocks... Hit two hat tricks: vs. Fresno Pacific (9/25) and Bucknell (10/22)... All three goals vs. Bison were on 6-on-5 chances... Shot 2-for-2 with 2 assists at La Verne (9/11).

2010: Appeared in just 78 minutes, but shot 4-for-7 with 4 steals in that limited action... Scored 3 goals (against as many opponents) and all 4 steals at Inland Empire Classic.

2009: Redshirted.

HIGH SCHOOL: Attended Mount Carmel HS for two years then Cathedral Catholic HS, where he graduated in 2009... Selected to All-San Diego Section second team as junior and senior... Added first-team All-Western League honors in 2008... Scored 248 career goals in four seasons with the Sun Devils, including a career-high 83 in his final year... Won Defensive MVP as a freshman, then switched to driver, earning Offensive MVP in 2006 and 2007... Played for esteemed San Diego Shores club for five years... Earned all-tournament honorable mention at 18 & under Jr. Olympics.

PERSONAL: Born in San Diego, Calif.... Majoring in mechanical engineering... Parents are Steve & Sally Rogers... One of four siblings, three of whom attended or are attending UC Davis... Proudest personal accomplishment was firing a 76 at Torrey Pines South.
