2010: Appeared in all 28 games for 427 minutes... Scored 20 goals with 5 steals... Also had 16 steals, 12 drawn exclusions (11 major, 1 five-meter) and 4 field blocks... Won 14 of 22 sprints... Had five multi-goal games with season-best 3 vs. Pomona-Pitzer (9/12).

2009: Redshirted.

2008: Played in all 28 games for 314 total minutes... Scored 11 goals with 7 assists... Added 16 steals, 12 drawn exclusions and 3 blocks... Performed hat trick (all on 6-on-5s) with 2 steals vs. Long Beach State (10/26)... Nabbed 3 steals in 20 minutes vs. UC San Diego (11/7).

2007: ALL-WWPA FRESHMAN TEAM... Played in 28 games for 195 minutes... Shot 17-for-37 (.459) with an assist... Also had 7 steals, 10 drawn exclusions and 3 blocks... Team's top sprinter by percentage, winning 16 of 27 (.592)... Performed first career hat trick vs. UC Santa Cruz (10/28), one of four multi-goal games.

UC DAVIS SWIMMING: Competed in 2007-08 as a sprint freestyler... Placed 33rd in 50 free (22.10), 29th in 100 free (48.15) at Big West Conference Championships, posting season-best times in each.

MARIN CATHOLIC PREP '07: Earned Jr. Olympic All-America honors in 2005... Twice garnered All-Marin County Athletic League first-team distinction... Member of North Coast Section senior all-star squad... Also a standout sprinter for swim team, earning NISCA All-America honors in 100 and 200 free as well as 200 and 400 free relays... Helped swim team to back-to-back conference championships... Both relay teams won NCS titles in 2007... Played club ball for Marin WPC.

PERSONAL: Born in San Rafael, Calif.... Majoring in communication... Parents are Wayne Eggert & Mary Pat Leoni... Wayne was a swimmer and water polo player at Long Beach State... Younger sister, Carmen, earned All-America honors for the Aggie women's team... Full name is Angelo Walter Eggert... The event in history he would have liked to have witnessed is the 1962 World Series.
