DAVIS, Calif. - UC Davis junior attacker Trevor Allen was selected as co-recipient of KAP7/Western Water Polo Association Player of the Week honors for the period ending October 13, it was announced by the conference office Wednesday afternoon.

Additionally, the Aggies jumped up three places to No. 11 in the national coaches poll, as announced by the Collegiate Water Polo Association.

Allen, a product of nearby Davis High School, shot 9-for-22 with an assist, five steals, five drawn exclusions and a field block in the Aggies' 11th-place run at the UCI Invitational. He led UC Davis with two goals against No. 4 Stanford, notched a hat trick in a 12-10 win over WWPA rival UC San Diego, scored another three in Sunday morning's battle with No. 8 Pepperdine, then delivered the game-winning goal with a minute remaining in the Aggies' 9-8 win over No. 16 St. Francis.

Allen shared the honor with UC San Diego goalkeeper Cameron Ravanbach, who tallied 50 saves at the UCI Invite. Allen is the first Aggie to win KAP7 Player of the Week since Bernie Rogers did it during the first week of the 2013 season.

UC Davis returns to action with a Friday evening home game against No. 3 Pacific, then heads to No. 4 Stanford on Sunday afternoon.
