Junior Carlos Martinez posted a goal and assist for the Aggies, while Brendan Sigourney had two steals and two drawn kickouts... Sophomore GK Kevin Peat registered 10 saves and a steal in front of the UC Davis cage, including three blocks against Golden Bear counterattacks... The Aggies are now 3-12 against nationally ranked teams (not counting Receiving Votes opponents).

He leads the team with 44 total points (19 goals, team-leading 25 assists) while nabbing 24 steals... Cory Lyle (24 goals) and Colin Hicks (23) lead in the scoring column, boosted by a combined 16-for-18 in five-meter penalty shots... Martinez and senior defender Jim Breen also average more than 20 minutes of PT per game... In net, Peat has totalled 183 saves against 160 goals for a .534 average.

UP NEXT: UC Davis takes on yet another highly ranked foe in a road game at Stanford Wednesday night... The Aggies previously lost to the Cardinal, 16-3, at the NorCal Invitational.

Third-ranked STANFORD (16-1) remained unbeaten in Mountain Pacific Sports Federation play with a 13-8 home win against ninth-ranked UC Santa Barbara... Sophomore driver Jacob Smith scored a team-best five goals, earning conference Player of the Week honors... He is the fourth Cardinal player to win such an award this season, joining brothers Drac and Janson Wigo... Stanford won its first 12 contests of the year before suffering its only loss, a 10-8 setback to archrival California, at the UCI Invitational on Oct. 11.
