2008-09: Went 20-7 (all NCAA-countable) for team-best winning percentage of .741... Also led team with 12 dual wins, 52 dual points, six pins and three technical falls... Dual wins are tied for 4th on the single season list... Ranks 8th all-time with 11 career pins... Went 10-4 against Pac-10 opponents and 8-5 in tournament action... Pinned Teddy Astorga (CS Fullerton) in 1:03 to finish 3rd at Pac-10 Championships... Win over Astorga avenged opening loss at conference tournament... Placed 4th at Reno Tournament of Champions with two pins and a tech. fall... Won 7 of 8 matches from 12/18-1/10, four by pin and one by major decision.

2007-08: Finished with 18-14 overall record, 15-13 against NCAA-countable opponents... Tallied five pins, four major decisions and a team-best four technical falls... Pinned Orlando Jimenez of Arizona State to place 7th at Pac-10 Championships... Also posted 11-3 major-decision win over Oregon's Elliot Tracy in wrestleback at conference... Made collegiate debut with 16-0 technical fall over Arizona State's Preston Pruett in season opener... Placed 3rd at Oregon Classic, scoring three wins by fall and one by technical fall.

2006-07: Redshirted... Entered the California Collegiates tournament at 149 lbs. but forfeited his first match due to injury... Placed fourth at the Fullerton Open at 149 lbs.

UNION MINE HS '06: Finished 2nd at CIF state championships as a senior (140 lbs.), 4th as a junior (125)... Won Sac-Joaquin Section titles each year, plus subsections in 2004... Compiled 153-37 record, including 42-8 as a junior, 38-4 as a senior... Captured four straight Sierra Valley Conference titles, all at different weight classes: 103, 112, 125 and 140... Three-time captain, who was voted Most Inspirational as a sophomore, then MVP for his final two seaosns... Wrestled and coached for Sierra Strikers club.
