CLOVIS HS '08: Finished 4th at state championships (160 pounds) as a senior, helping Cougars capture state title... Won a combined 87 matches in final two seasons... Won Tri-Valley Athletic Conference title in 2008, then placed 2nd at Central Section and CIF-CS Masters tournaments... Named to Clovis Independent all-city team... Competed for Central Valley Wrestling Association for four years, placing 6th in Greco, 3rd in freestyle in 2005; 5th in Greco, 2nd in freestyle in 2008... Also lettered in track & field, competing in high jump and triple jump.
