2007-08: Sustained injury in season-opening 7-2 win over Cory Nelson of Arizona State... Returned for Pac-10 Conference Championships, losing his first-round bout (4-2) to eventual champion Pat Pitsch of ASU... Defaulted out of remainder of tournament, yet still earned 8th-place finish... Ranked as high as No. 10 by Wrestling Mall and No. 19 by Intermat/NWCA... Earned first-team Pac-10 All-Academic.

2006-07: PACIFIC-10 CONFERENCE runner-up at 165 pounds, earning first trip ito NCAA Championships... Finished with 23-10 overall record (20-9 in NCAA bouts), including 11-3 mark in duals, 12-2 against Pac-10 opponents... Went 3-2 at nationals... Rebounded from opening-round loss to eventual champion Mark Perry of Iowa to win three straight in the wrestleback bracket... Cruised his way to Pac-10 title match with a pin over Oregon's Jack McCoy and a 15-3 major decision over Boise State's Johnny Nunez... Total of 11 dual wins rank 8th on the single season list... Only Aggie to go undefeated in a tripleheader against Lehigh, Columbia and Stanford... Highlighted the Aggies' doubleheader with Oregon and No. 19 Oregon State...
