2004-05: Compiled 17-9 record, all against NCAA-countable foes... Led team with six wins by fall, tying his own season best and moving him into 4th on UC Davis' career leaderboard (16)... Also went 5-1 in major decisions... Beat Stanford's Scott Loescher, 16-1, to advance at Pac-10 Championships... Took just 88 seconds to record technical fall win... Finished 5th at conference, beating Russell Brunson of Boise State in 11-3 major decision for his season finale... Only losses at Pac-10 tourney came against ranked opponents... Went 4-2 at Cliff Keen Invitational in December, recovering from 4-2 overtime loss to Pitt's Justin Nestor to record three straight wins... Moved into T6th on school's career pins leaderboard. 2002-03: Compiled 8-7 record (7-7 NCAA) as a redshirt freshman... Won 3 bouts by fall and another by technical fall... Beat Cal State Bakersfield's David Garcia in a mere 32 seconds to kick off Aggie Open... Appeared in dual lineup 6 times, recording a pair of pins... Pinned Matt Lininger of Central Washington in 4:25, then beat Cal Poly's Keith Kroeger in 2:36 less than a week later.

2001-02: Redshirted... Went 2-2 (0-2 NCAA) at Aggie Open as an unattached competitor, with both wins against UC San Diego club members... Pinned Eric Smith in just 0:43... Opened tourney with 16-1 technical fall win over Johnny Knight.

KENNEDY HS '01: Two-time state qualifier, placing 3rd as a senior... Won back-to-back Empire League titles and was named league and Orange County MVP in 2001... Finished 2nd in Southern Section as a junior, then won the title as a senior... Finished with 39-6 and 46-1 records in last two years, respectively... Went undefeated in league during that span...
