Four-time NCAA qualifier and a 2001 All-American at Indiana, Kevin Stanley enters his third season as an assistant coach with the UC Davis wrestling program.

A native of Oak Grove, Mo., Stanley most recently completed a two-year stint as an assistant coach at Central Missouri after serving three years as an assistant at Big 12 Conference member Missouri. Over his career, Stanley has guided four conference champions, eight All-Americans and NCAA Division II champion Plamen Paskalev (CMS).

As a collegian, Stanley was an All-American at 165 pounds during his senior year in 2001, placing sixth at the national championships. He was a four-time Big 10 Conference place-winner, and remains the only wrestler in Indiana history to qualify for the NCAA championships four times. He finished his career with an overall record of 111-39 and continues to rank in school history with 25 career pins.

Stanley also enjoyed a solid prep career as he was a two-time Missouri state champion during his time at Oak Grove High School. He graduated from Indiana in 2001 with a degree in general studies.

Stanley currently resides in Sacramento.
