2007-08: Redshirted... Competed unattached at Fullerton Open, going 4-2... Scored four straight wins in wrestleback bracket, starting with 3:00 pin against Sierra College's James Ehrig... Placed 3rd at Kaufman-Brand Open and 2nd at NWCA College Open.

HALF MOON BAY HS '07: Placed 3rd at the CIF State Championships (152 lbs) as a senior, capping a prep record of 150-36... Went 48-4 as a senior, winning Peninsula Athletic League and Central Coast Section titles... Named conference's Most Outstanding Wrestler as well as the Wrestler of the Year by the San Mateo Daily Journal.... Won four PAL titles in four different weight classes (152, 140, 130, 119)... Finished as CIF-CCS runner-up two other times.... Also ran cross country as a freshman, helping the team win a PAL title and place second at sections.
