NOTES Last week the Aggies defeated Stanford in a home dual at UC Davis' third annual "Beauty and the Beast" event that featured the wrestling dual side-by-side the Aggie gymnastic team's dual versus Boise State... The Aggie wrestlers grabbed wins in every weight class with the exception of 174-pounds due to a forfeit... Jon Clark got the dual started for the Aggies with a win over the Pac-10's No. 3 Scott Loescher in a 8-2 decision in the 157-pound match-up... Frank Richmond defeated Brian Perry for the second time this season in the 165-pound match in a 15-6 major decision, the last time these two wrestlers faced off, Richmond came away with a narrow 7-6 decision... Richmond has maintained his No. 3 Pac-10 ranking for the fifth straight week... Tyler Bernacchi (184) went into overtime with Ryan Hagen and took a win in a 4-2 decision... Bernacchi is the current No. 6 ranked wrestler for the 184-pounders in the Pac-10..... Eliot Kelly came back from an early deficit to take a last second 8-7 decision against Ian Bork for the 197-pounders... Kelly has held his No. 5 Pac-10 ranking for the sixth straight week... Evan Hendrix wrestled in his second match of the season and grabbed a 6-3 decision to bring his season record to 2-0... Omar Gaitan (133) used an impressive 10 takedowns to capture a 22-10 major decision over Eric Minnick... No. 7 Derek Moore finished off the evening by pinning Stanford's Juston Johnson five minutes and 50 seconds into the 141-pound match... Moore is currently ranked No. 1 in the Pac-10 for 141-pound wrestlers for the sixth consecutive week... Moore leads the Aggies in wins by fall with five on the season... Jesse Padilla (149) and Marcos Orozco (125) each won by forfeit versus the Cardinal... Ken Cook has moved up one spot on this week's USA Today/NWCA/Intermat Division I Coaches' Poll, he is now ranked No. 8 among 174-pounders... Cook is 19-4 overall this season and ranked No. 2 in the Pac-10... With last Friday's win the Aggies' season record has been lifted to 4-6 overall and 2-2 in the Pac-10, the Aggies are currently ranked No. 6 in the conference.

UPCOMING OPPONENTS
UC Davis has a full weekend ahead as they host four Pac-10 duals. On Friday the Ags will host Oregon State and Oregon at the Pavilion and on Saturday they will host Portland State and Boise State in Upper Hickey Gym.

The Oregon State Beavers are currently ranked No. 4 in the Pac-10 and have three nationally ranked wrestlers: No. 16 Tony Hook (157), No. 18 Jeremy Larson (174) and No. 17 Ty Watterson (285), all three are slated to wrestle this Friday. Key Pac-10 match-ups this weekend will be between No. 1 Moore and No. 2 Kyle Larson at 141, No. 1 J. Larson versus No. 2 Cook at 174 pounds and the 197-pound match-up between No. 5 Kelly and No. 3 Dan Pitsch. Oregon State currently holds a record of 10-2-1 overall and 5-1 in the Pac-10.

The Oregon Ducks, who are 6-4 overall and 4-3 in the Pac-10 have two nationally ranked wrestlers, No. 6 Shane Webster (184) and No. 6 Joey Bracamonte (165). The Ducks are currently No. 5 in the Pac-10, just ahead of the Ags. Key match-ups will be between the Pac-10's No. 3 and No. 4 133-pounders Justin Pearch and Gaitan and the No. 1 and No. 3 165-pounders Bracamonte and Richmond.

The Portland State Vikings, who are 3-14 overall and 0-4 in the Pac-10, will be traveling to California following back-to-back wins against Pacific (Oregon) and Fresno State last weekend.

Boise State will be the final dual of the weekend for the Ags. Boise State has posted a season record of 6-4 with a 2-3 Pac-10 record. The Broncos have lost their last three consecutive duals to Pac-10 opponents Cal Poly, Oregon and Oregon State but are still ranked No. 3 in this week's Pac-10 rankings. Boise State has three nationally ranked wrestlers, all of which are on the lineup for this weekend: No. 16 Scott Jorgeson (133), who is also the two-time defending Pac-10 champion, No. 12 Ben Cherrington (157), who was last year's Pac-10 champion at the 149-pound weight class, and No. 11 Casey Phelps (197). Key Pac-10 match-ups will be at 184-pounds between No. 6 Bernacchi and No. 5 K.C. Walsh and at 197-pounds with No. 5 Kelly taking on No. 4 Phelps.

Several Aggie wrestlers will also head to San Francisco on Saturday to participate in the 30th Annual California Collegiate Wrestling Invitational hosted by San Francisco State.
