UPCOMING OPPONENTS
UC Davis will head to Oregon to take on the Raiders of Southern Oregon who are celebrating their 50th Anniversary this weekend. Southern Oregon, which competes in the NAIA, currently boasts a season record of 13-4. The Aggies and Raiders last met during the 2001-02 season with UC Davis coming away with a 31-16 win.

The Raiders were in competition last weekend in Montana where they were upset by Montana State-Northern 22-21 on Friday. Southern Oregon bounced back the next day and defeated University of Great Falls, 20-15 on Saturday.

The Aggies have faced three common opponents as the Raiders: Arizona State, Portland State and San Francisco State. Both teams were topped by the Sun Devils of Arizona State and both teams took wins over S.F. State and Portland State. The Raiders also took 16th at the Reno Tournament of Champions earlier this season, the Aggies grabbed eighth place in the tournament.

HEAD COACH Lennie Zalesky
"Southern Oregon is historically a very tough NAIA team and I think it will be good to face some new people. Our guys have been wrestling well when they are healthy, but a lot of them have been wrestling sick or injured so it is hard to tell where we are at right now. Our big goal is to peak at the end of the season."
