Alex Daniels

Daniels enjoyed a breakthrough season as a sophomore last year, earning All-CCAA honors with his 7th-place finish. He was one of the seven runners to represen UC Davis at the 2001 NCAA West Region and NCAA Championship meets. In 2000, Daniels enjoyed top-20 finishes at Chico and Stanislaus in the opening weeks of the season.

In track, he placed in the 800 (6th) and 1,500 (8th) at the CCAA Championships as a freshman in 2001, then followed with a 9th-place performance in the 1,500 last spring. Daniels is majoring in wildlife, fish and conservation biology.
