2010-11: Started 31 of 32 games, including first 27 games of the season, and had streak of 59 straight starts before missing game at Cal State Northridge (3/3) because of illness... Averaged 4.5 ppg and Finished 2nd in assists (73) and 5th in steals (40)... Posted team-best 1.28 assist/turnover ratio... Went 2-of-5 with two assists and a steal in NCAA Tournament first round game at Stanford (3/19)... Started all 3 games at Big West Tournament, averaging 4.7 ppg... Scored 8 points in semifinal win vs. UC Riverside (3/11) and had 4 assists and 2 steals in opener against UC Irvine (3/8)... Had only double-digit scoring game, scoring 11 pts on 5-of-7 shooting on vs. Saint Mary's (12/1)... Had season-best 5 assists vs. UC Irvine (2/26) and 6 other games with 4 each... Finished with more assists than steals in 18 games... 1 of just 5 Aggies to shoot at least .700 from the line... Grabbed season-high 4 rebounds in 4 games... Played season-high 29 minutes at Pepperdine (11/19)... Tied career-high with 6 steals at UCLA (11/21).

2009-10: Started all 32 games at point guard... Led team in minutes (923) and assists (86)... Shot .313 (50-160) from the field, 15-55 (.273) from three-point range, .700 (35-50) from three-throw line for 150 points (4.7 ppg)... Finished 2nd on team and 4th in Big West with 2.06 steals per game (66 total)... Compiled assists-turnover ratio of 1.53 (86-56) but did not qualify for league leaderboard... Dished out season-best 9 assists with no TOs in season opener at Seattle (11/13)... Had seven of at least 25 minutes without an assist, including WNIT game at Cal (3/17)... Posted 4 assists with 3 steals on overtime battle with Golden Bears... Credited for 5 steals on three occasions: Sacramento State (12/13), Cal Poly (1/9) and UC Riverside (2/27)... Shot 5-for-11 for season-best 10 points at Pacific (2/11).

2008-09: Started 9 games, five of them in a row during the middle of the conference season... Tied for 8th in the Big West in steals (1.6 pg)... Played 42 of 45 minutes in OT loss to UC Riverside (2/7) during one of those starts... Followed that with 37 minutes in each of next two games at UC Irvine (2/12) and Cal State Fullerton (2/14)... Hit a trio of three-pointers and scored season-high 13 points vs. Seattle while dishing season-high tying four assists... Also had four assists at Cal Poly (1/24)... Grabbed six steals against USF (11/25) and at Irvine... Shot .842 from the line during league games... Was 6 for 11 (.545) from the field during four-game stretch in late December and early January... Missed game vs. Cal State Northridge (1/4) with foot injury.

SOUTH TORRANCE HS '08: Earned first-team All-Southern Section honors for three straight years... Also a three-time team MVP, two-time Pioneer League MVP and three-time pick for Daily Breeze All-Area squads... Averaged 11.2 points, 4.2 rebounds per game while compiling 149 assists and 67 steals as a senior... Scored 10.2 ppg with 154 assists and 102 steals as a junior... Spartans went 69-22 in her three varsity seasons, advancing as far as state regionals in 2005-06.

PERSONAL: Born in Torrance, Calif.... Majoring in biological sciences... Parents are Tom and Mariko Asano... Older brother, Chikara Christopher, attends Cal State Fullerton...
