Women’s basketball hosts Vandals in WNIT opener

In the postseason for the sixth time in 11 years, UC Davis hosts for the first time on Thursday at 6 p.m.

2009-10: ALL-BIG WEST CONFERENCE FIRST TEAM... Led Aggies and ranked 7th in the conference at 13.0 points per game... Started 26 of 28 games for 735 minutes... Shot 134-for-285 (.470) from the field, including career highs of 31-for-81 (.383) from the three-point arc... Hit 65 of 93 (.699) at the line... Edged Heidi Heintz for team lead in rebounding average (4.6)... Added 65 assists, a team-high 35 blocks and 37 steals... Garnered conference Player of the Week honors for double-double (21 points, 10 rebounds) performance in regular-season finale vs. Cal State Fullerton (3/6)... Also tallied season-best 23 points with 8 boards vs. Cal State Northridge (3/4) to claim the award... Previous season high was 22, thanks to 9-for-14 shooting vs. Long Beach State (2/18)... Enjoyed strong postseason, notching 15 points vs. UC Santa Barbara (3/12) and 18 points vs. UC Riverside (3/13) in Big West tournament; then posting 17 points with career-best 4 blocks in WNIT game at California (3/17)... Returned from midseason injury with 19 points and 4 steals in just 20 minutes vs. Cal State Northridge (1/4) during second game back.

2008-09: ALL-BIG WEST CONFERENCE FIRST TEAM... Led Aggies in scoring (13.0), rebounding (6.4), assists (69), blocks (31) and steals (44)... Ranked among league's top 10 in seven different Big West stat categories, including FT% (.794) and blocks (31)... Enjoyed monster game vs. Cal State Northridge (1/4), scoring career-high 25 points with 10 rebounds for first career double-double, to go with 7 assists, 6 steals and 3 blocks... Added another with 13-pt, 12-boards vs. Northridge in Big West Tournament... Had 24 points at Creighton (12/20) and 22 at Cal Poly (1/24)... Hovered among top 100 free throw shooters in Div. I until slipping out of ranking toward end of the season... Had career-best 3 treys at Long Beach State (1/10)... Besides Northridge, had 10 boards at UCSB (1/22) and vs. Long Beach State (2/5)... Moved into T-7th slot for career blocked shots (59) and 7th on single-season list... Only game missed was at UC Irvine (2/12) due to injury... Is shooting 56 percent over last three games (19 for 34).

2007-08: Played in 24 games, starting 13 including 10 during Big West action... Averaged 6.7 ppg, 4.5 rpg and led Aggies with 26 blocks...Was 3rd in league with 1.08 block average... Provided solid low-post presence for the Aggies... Started 13 of final 14 games... Missed 7 games early this season with foot injury, announcing her return at Cal State Fullerton (1/17) by scoring 12 pts and grabbing 5 rebounds... Also blocked a shot and had 2 steals and 2 assists... Tallied a career-high 14 pts, making 6 of 12 shots, against then No. 5 Stanford (12/2)... Scored 13 pts vs. Northern Arizona (11/16) at Waikiki Beach Marriott Classic, blocking a pair of shots as well... Included in block totals are 3 each vs. Gonzaga (12/6) and Pacific (2/2)... Nailed a half-dozen three-pointers, last doing so at Pacific (3/1), a game in which she went 4 of 5 from the field and had 3 steals... Dished out 3 assists in 5 games and had a pair of games (vs. NAU on 11/16; at UCSB on 1/24) with 4 steals.

2006-07: Started first two games of the year before suffering season-ending injury... Granted medical hardship season... Scored 18 points on 9-for-23 field goals in 53 minutes... Had 6 points in collegiate debut at Boise State (11/10), then scored 12 points with 2 blocks at Gonzaga (11/12).

VALLEY CENTER HS '06: Twice made All-San Diego Section honors: second team as a junior, first team as a senior... Voted North County Player of the Year and earned second All-Valley League first-team nod as a senior... Averaged 15 points, 15 rebounds and 6 blocks per game in her final season... Posted 15 ppg, 18 rpg, 8 bpg as a junior... Also starred in volleyball and track & field... Captured all-league distinction as a senior middle blocker in volleyball... Won Valley title as a high jumper... Selected to school's Athletic Hall of Fame... Also played AAU ball for San Diego Showcase.
