CHICO, Calif. - Jennifer Decuir scored a game-high 22 points Saturday and UC Davis used an 11-0 run spanning the end of the first half and the beginning of the second, as the Aggies rolled to an 80-54 win over Southern Oregon at the 30th Annual Coslett Classic, hosted by Chico State.

The victory evened the Aggies' record at 1-1, while Southern Oregon dropped to 1-3.

Decuir, who connected on eight of 14 shots including a pair of three-pointers, led five UC Davis players in double figures. Kimberly Smith and Kim Omer each chipped in with 13 points, Colleen Turnbull had 11 and Sarah Allen added 10. Allen also had a game-high 10 rebounds.

UC Davis led 8-0 and 14-4 before Southern Oregon bounced back and tied the game, 18-18, with 7:13 left before halftime. Back-to-back jumpers by Ashley Nunley gave the Raiders a 22-18 lead less than two minutes later, but UC Davis rallied. Tied 27-27 with 2:50 left in the first half, the Aggies held Southern Oregon scoreless the rest of the half and used an 11-0 surge over parts of the two halves to take a 38-27 lead before pulling away.

Nunley led Southern Oregon with 14 points while Sara Marks added 13. Kara Magee-Arick had a team-high six rebounds.

UC Davis out-rebounded the Raiders, 49-42, and had 21 assists, led by Decuir's eight.

The Aggies return to action on Dec. 7 when they open California Collegiate Athletic Association play at Chico State.

Chico State beat Humboldt State, 103-81, in Saturday's other game at the Coslett Classic.

Decuir earned all-tournament honors for UC Davis along with Kim Abts and Leah Rice of Chico State, Nicole Lynch and Jackie Kolesar of Humboldt State, and Nunley of Southern Oregon.
