Tip off times adjusted for women’s basketball

DAVIS, Calif. — Tip off times for a pair of upcoming UC Davis women’s basketball contests have been adjusted, including one for this Saturday’s meeting at CSUN in Northridge, Calif.

The Aggies and Matadors will now tip off at 4 p.m. from The Matadome on Feb. 3, in a game that was originally listed at 2 p.m.

In addition, UC Davis’ home contest against Long Beach State on Feb. 15 at The Pavilion has been moved up an hour to 6 p.m., giving more fans an opportunity to attend the Aggies’ annual “pink game” for breast cancer awareness and a celebration honoring Girls and Women in Sports Day.

Support the UC Davis Student-Athlete Advisory Committee and the Yolo County SPCA during the month of February as the Aggies hold their 11th annual coin drive at all home events. For the fourth year in a row, Big West Conference institutions will donate 100 percent of the funds raised to their designated charities, with the top three fundraising SAAC’s receiving a cash prize toward their SAAC budget. Over the last 10 years, conference members have combined to raise nearly $197,000.
