DAVIS, Calif. -- The UC Davis women's basketball program will host its first camp of the summer with a two-day individual elite camp to be held on June 15-16, 2016, at The Pavilion on campus.
Conducted by members of the Aggies' coaching staff and student-athletes, the camp covers basic and advanced fundamentals in a high-energy environment, while helping players improve their skills. The camp will also give participants an opportunity to meet with current UC Davis players to discuss their experiences and expectations as a Division I student-athlete both on and off the court.
The event is open to any and all girls ages 13-18, and will be held from 5-8 p.m. on both days. The two-day overnight camp costs $70 per person, with single-day slots available for $40. Discounts are available for groups who would like to register.
Each camper will receive a 2016 UC Davis basketball camp t-shirt, but are asked to bring basketball shoes and attire, an additional everyday t-shirt and shorts for after-camp activities, money for camp store items, and enthusiasm and willingness to learn.
