UC Davis hosted No. 1 Stanford on Nov. 30 at The Pavilion, falling 87-38 to the Cardinal.
Sydnee Fipps led the Aggies with 14 points on 4-of-13 shooting, marking her fifth straight double-digit scoring effort of the year.
Fipps is UC Davis' leading scorer at 20.2 points per game while Cortney French is averaging 15.0 points per game.
Alyson Doherty and Heidi Johnson each grabbed four rebounds in the loss... Doherty is the Aggies' leading rebounder at 4.2 boards per game.
Saint Mary's has won four straight games, including a sweep over Big West members Cal Poly and UC Santa Barbara last week, and own a 5-2 record.
The Gaels are in the midst of a five-game road swing and have played just two games at McKeon Pavilion to start the 2012-13 season.
Jackie Nared is averaging 18.7 points and 9.4 rebounds per game for Saint Mary's while Danielle Mauldin is averaging a double-double with 13 points and 11.3 rebounds per game.
The Gaels were picked to finish third in the West Coast Conference Preseason Poll... Nared and Mauldin were voted to the Preseaon All-WCC team.
UC Davis holds a 10-9 series advantage over Saint Mary's with the last Aggie win coming on Dec. 1, 2010 at The Pavilion... UC Davis won 71-62.
The Aggies are 6-4 against the Gaels at The Pavilion and have won the last two straight in Davis.
Jennifer Gross begins her second season as head coach of the UC Davis women's basketball team after leading the Aggies to their third consecutive postseason appearance in 2011-12... In her first year at the helm of the program, the Aggies saw several milestones including Kasey Riecks' 1000th career point and Samantha Meggison and Hannah Stephens' selections to the All-Big West Conference team.
Paul Thomas enters his seventh season as head coach at Saint Mary's after leading the Gaels to 22 victories and a first-round WNIT victory in 2011-12... It was the most wins since the 2000-01 squad and the Gaels' trip to the WNIT was the second straight postseason appearance.
Thursday's game will be broadcast live on KDVS 90.3 FM with Ben Taylor and Greg Cotta on the call.

Fans who donate a new, unwrapped toy can purchase a general admission seat for just $5.
Only one toy needs to be donated to receive reduced admission, but those in attendance can donate as many items as they would like for this worthy cause.
SAINT MARY'S SCOUTING REPORT
Saint Mary's is in the midst of a five-game road swing and swept Cal Poly and UC Santa Barbara on the road last week... The Gaels have won four straight games dating back to a 85-74 win over Butler on Nov. 23.
Danielle Mauldin is averaging a double-double for Saint Mary's with 13.0 points and 11.3 rebounds per game.
Jackie Nared adds 18.7 points and 9.4 rebounds per game.
The Gaels return 10 letterwinners and three starters from the 2011-12 squad that won 22 games and a first-round WNIT matchup.
Saint Mary's also welcomes five newcomers to the roster.

FIPPS ON FIRE
Sydnee Fipps continues to lead the Aggies in scoring, averaging 20.2 points per game with double-digit scoring performances in all five games this year.
She topped her career high in scoring for the third time this season, putting up 28 points against Houston Baptist on Nov. 23 in the Aggies' 77-64 win.
The sophomore ranks 25th nationally in points per game and is second in the Big West in points per game and fourth in field goal percentage (.500).
STEALING THE SHOW
UC Davis ranks fifth nationally in steals per game, averaging 14.8 steals per game... That average is also best in the Big West.
The Aggies registered 11 steals against No. 1 Stanford, forcing the Cardinal into a season-high 17 turnovers.
Blair Shinoda and Sydnee Fipps are tied for third in the Big West in steals per game, averaging 2.6 apiece.
