Aggie senior helps UC Davis beat Pacific 4-1

2012: Named NorPac West Division Offensive Player of the Week on Sept. 25... Ended the year ranked second on the team with seven goals.. Also ranked third among all Aggies with 16 points and 19 shots on goal... One of five players who recorded a game-winning goal... Started all 20 games played... Scored seven goals and earned two assists to finish the year with 16 points... Scored a season-high two goals at Pacific (9/23)... Of her 31 shots, 19 were on goal... Her first goal scored in 2012, against Saint Louis, was a game-winner... Scored on a penalty shot at Hofstra (9/16) and at Pacific (9/23).

2011: Saw action in all 17 games, picking up starts in the first 15... Finished with 1 goal, 1 assist for 3 points... Scored Aggies' only goal against Indiana (9/15), delivering from in front of the goal in the 65th minute... Assisted on Cloey LemMon's breakaway goal in the second minute against Penn (10/9)... Finished with 29 shots, 19 of them on goal.

2010: Started all 17 games, finishing T-2nd on team with 13 points... Was also T-2nd with six goals... Scored a season-high two goals against Appalachian State in NorPac Tournament matchup, including game-winner in 57th minute off assist from Kristen Lopez... Took 34 shots during season, 21 of them on goal... Had lone assist against Longwood, also in conference tournament... Finished year with two game-winning goals including in regular-season finale at Pacific... Scored two goals on penalty shots.

2009: Played in all 18 contests, starting 16... Lone goal of the season was memorable, coming in overtime against Missouri State in season-opener... Tied for 2nd on the team with two assists, picking up one of them in the historic win... Also assisted on Kelly Knauf's goal in 2-1 victory against LaSalle... Those performances helped her win NorPac West Division Offensive Player of the Week honors... Finished the year with four points and was second on squad with 31 shots, 23 of them on goal.

RANCHO BUENA VISTA HS '09: Named most valuable player as a senior...named best defender as a sophomore and junior...Helped lead team to Palomar League title as a senior...Also a standout on the softball team...Named rookie of the year as a freshman while leading the league in stolen bases...Softball team won league title in her freshman season...Received All-Academic Team honor as a member of the softball team.

PERSONAL: Born in Oceanside, Calif....Communication major...Daughter of Ofelia Sanchez...Proudest personal accomplishment is being first one in her family to go to college...Career highlights include scoring winning goal to win league title and leading the league in stolen bases as a freshman on the softball team...Non-sports heroes are her grandmother and mother...Career goals are to become a first-grade teacher or a speech therapist for younger children.
