UC Davis earns NFHCA Academic Honors

DAVIS, Calif. — The National Field Hockey Coaches Association recognized UC Davis along with 73 other programs when the organization announced its list of national team award recipients on Tuesday.

By achieving a 3.0 grade-point average or higher during the first term of the 2017-18 academic year, UC Davis added another Zag Field Hockey/NFHCA Division I National Academic Team award to its collection.

Brown University claimed the highest team GPA at 3.74, followed by Columbia at 3.66, Harvard (3.63), LIU Brooklyn (3.59) and rounding out the top five was American University (3.58).
