RADFORD, Va. – On the heels of UC Davis’ 3-2, overtime victory against No. 6 Stanford in last Sunday’s conference opener, the NorPac recognized senior forward Cloey LemMon and freshman forward Agustina Singh Monday afternoon as its Offensive and Rookie Players of the Week.

Returning to Aggie Stadium for the first time since its season opener against Missouri State on Aug. 30, LemMon and Singh helped UC Davis capture its first win against Stanford, and a nationally ranked team, since the program returned to action in 2009.

Including her goal scored with just over five minutes remaining until halftime, the only offense generated by either team in last Sunday’s game, LemMon recorded the game-winning assist on the Aggies' lone overtime penalty corner. She also led all players with five shots, more that one-third of the Aggies’ total (14), and three shots on goal.

Her three-point outburst against the Cardinal helped her jump over Danielle Koehne as the team’s points leader. In addition to her four goals scored throughout the Aggies’ first 10 games, LemMon also has three assists to her credit.

In her first NorPac contest, Singh once again earned the starting nod from interim head coach Austin Pile, and was as a key contributor on both ends of the field to help her team record an upset over last week's sixth-ranked squad.

In addition to blocking shots and frustrating Cardinal forwards on one end, Singh led many Aggie counterattacks and organized numerous scoring opportunities when UC Davis was possessed this ball.

This is the third time in as many seasons that LemMon was received offensive recognition from the NorPac, Monday’s announcement is the first time that Singh has been honored by the conference.

UC Davis will complete its home-and-home series against Stanford on Friday, Oct. 11; action from Palo Alto will start at 6 p.m.
