DAVIS, Calif. - The UC Davis field hockey team will host California Sunday afternoon in its home finale at Aggie Stadium. The NorPac game, which starts at 1 p.m., will be the third straight for the Aggies against a team either ranked or receiving votes in the latest national poll.

UC Davis is coming off a loss at No. 13 Stanford on Sunday in its only game of last week. Liz Siemion scored the Aggie goal, which was her team-leading fourth of the season. Siemion is one of nine Aggies with at least one goal this season. She's tied with Lindsey Valadez for the team lead in points.

Cal enters the game with a 5-9 overall record and is second in the NorPac West behind Stanford with a 3-1 conference mark. Cal is coming off a 4-1 NorPac victory over Pacific on Sunday at home. Eight of the team's nine losses have come against teams either ranked or receiving votes. Natalie Nurnberg leads the Bears with seven goals and 20 points.

The two teams met Oct. 10 in Berkeley where the Bears posted a win in the first game between the two schools. Following Sunday's game, UC Davis closes out its regular season Oct. 31 at Pacific. The following week is the NorPac Tournament in Stanford.
