Prebble was one of three freshman selected to the league’s 2017 team and is the second student-athlete in the UC Davis field hockey program's history to earn All-Championship accolades. Goalkeeper Beth Lee was the first Aggie to earn the league’s honor during her senior season in 2016.
Joining Prebble on the league’s team were Kelsey Briddell (Albany), Frederike Helmke (Albany), Savannah Burns (Pacific), Kriekie van Wyk (Pacific), Megan Rogers (California), Libby Riedl (Maine), Christa Doiron (UMass Lowell), Sarah Helgeson (Stanford), Corinne Zanolli (Stanford), Kelsey Bing (Stanford), Katie Keyser (Stanford), Ashley Mendonca (New Hampshire), Gianna Bensaia (New Hampshire), and Aggie Sutherland (New Hampshire).
During Thursday’s quarterfinal match against No. 21 Albany, Prebble took one of UC Davis’ two shots on goal on the afternoon.
The Auckland, New Zealand native started all 18 games for the Aggies this season and tallied two assists in 2017. Prebble’s first career assist came during the Aggies’ match against #21 Saint Joseph’s, her second in an overtime contest against America East opponent, California, on Oct. 20.
