Aggie duo qualifies for U.S. Women's Amateur

Dobashi begins her fourth season as assistant coach in 2012-13 after concluding four years as a member of the Aggie team in 2010. She assists in all facets of the program.

Dobashi, a 2006 graduate of Rio Americano High School, highlighted her UC Davis career with a second-place finish at the Sacramento State Invitational in 2009 and later in the season tied for 11th at the Big West Championship. She enjoyed her best round at the Anteater Invitational, shooting a 73 on her way to finishing 12th. She saw action each of her four seasons and was part of the program when it made its debut at the NCAA Division I level in 2007.

Her collegiate accolades also included being named an Arthur Ashe, Jr. Sports Scholar three consecutive years. The award recognizes scholarship, athletic achievement and community involvement.

At Rio Americano, Dobashi was a four-time all-league honoree and was named her team's MVP in 2006. She graduated with High Honors.
