2009-10:BIG WEST CONFERENCE PLAYER OF THE YEAR... ALL-BIG WEST CONFERENCE FIRST TEAM... Named Hubert Heitman Award winner as UC Davis female athlete of the year...Led team with a 74.8 average and was just one of two Aggies to play every round... Was named the Big West Golfer of the Month twice (September, February)... Led the Aggies in top-5 (3) and top-20 (7) finishes while tying for most top-10 placings (6)... Was second at the Ron Moore Intercollegiate, fifth at the Fresno State Lexus Classic and Big West Championship, and tied for seventh at The Turtle Bay Collegiate Invitational and Peg Barnard Invitational... Rounds of 67 at Hawaii and Las Vegas were best on the team this season... Finished both the Branch Law Firm/Dick McGuire and Turtle Bay Collegiate Invitational at just 1-over... Was only 2-over at Fresno State... Participated in NCAA West Regional for third straight year.
2008-09:NCAA DIVISION I ALL-AMERICA HONORABLE MENTION... NCAA DIVISION I ALL-WEST REGION... ALL-BIG WEST CONFERENCE FIRST TEAM... Earned at-large selection as individual to NCAA West Region Championships, tying for 8th at 2-under and earning a spot in the national finals... Flirted with the lead at the national championships after a 2-under 70 in the third round put her in fourth place... Finished T-8th at the NCAA Finals to help earn her honorable mention honors... Led UC Davis with a 73.4 average over a team-high 37 rounds... Posted an Aggie-best 67 in the second round of the Heather Farr Memorial at Colorado... Had team-high seven top-10 tournament finishes... Her 54-hole score of 210 at the Heather Farr was second-lowest on the team.
2007-08:ALL-BIG WEST CONFERENCE FIRST TEAM... Enjoyed standout freshman season, moving into the lineup during the spring season... Posted a season-best T-2nd at the NCAA Western Regional Preview while playing as an individual... Carded rounds of 71-72-74 to finish at 1-over... Was seventh at the Big West Championships then was T-30th at the NCAA West Regional and T-34th at the NCAA Championships... Was the Aggies' low scorer at the national finals, shooting 12 over for the 72-hole event at the University of New Mexico... Closed her first Big West Championship with a 72, helping her post a T-7th... Was T-15th at the USF/Richmond CC Invitational for her best fall finish.
DIAMOND BAR HS '07: Was a four-year letterwinner and four-year captain for her golf team... As a juniors player, won the 49th Lee Hammil Memorial and was two-time medalist at the Chappy Wheeler Memorial (2005, 2006)... Also finished twice in that event... Twice earned distinction on the Principal's Honor Roll.
PERSONAL: Born in Los Angeles, Calif... Asian-American Studies major... Parents are Jong and Hoi Kim... Played in the U.S. Women's Open in 2009, joining teammate Chelsea Stelzmiller at the prestigious event... Also played in the U.S. Public Links Championship and U.S. Amateur... Superstitions include wearing bright colors during tournaments... If she won a million dollars, she would donate it... Has professional golf aspirations... Plans to visit Europe someday.
