2017: Competed on bars and beam in all 12 meets... Made beam lineup debut of 9.700 at NorCal Classic (Jan. 15), shortly after scoring 9.750 on bars... Hit beam best of 9.825 in home finale vs. Air Force (Mar. 10)... Scored season-high 9.825 on bars in home dual with Alaska Anchorage (Feb. 19), later hitting 9.775 at MPSF Championships (Mar. 18)... Earned MPSF and NACGC/W academic accolades.

2016: Appeared in exhibition on bars and beam before earning a spot in the bars lineup in late February... Appeared in four meets, scoring 9.700-9.675 in final two dual meets followed by 9.725 at MPSF Championships (Mar. 19)... Earned NACGC/W Academic Award.

HIGH SCHOOL/CLUB: Honor roll student (unweighted 4.0 GPA) at Lowell HS, graduating in 2015... Competed for San Mateo Gymnastics since 2006, moving to Level 10 in 2013... Placed 4th on bars, 5th on beam and in all-around at Region 1 meet to qualify for Junior Olympics nationals in 2015... Improved from 17th and 16th at regionals in first two Level 10 seasons to 5th during senior year... Won Level 9 floor title at NorCal State and finished 2nd at Region 1 in 2012 before making jump to 2010.

PERSONAL: Born in San Francisco, Calif.... Has not declared a major but hopes for career in environmental science... Parents are Hiroshi & Joy Suzuki... Older of two siblings, along with Kana (17)... Career highlight was competing at 2015 J.O. meet.
