2004: USAG CO-CHAMPION on uneven bars, scoring 9.625... Posted 9.725 in team prelims to advance to Saturday's event final... Highly consistent performer, scoring 9.500 or higher in 14 of 15 meets on bars, 13 of 14 on beam... Had best overall meet at MPSF Championships, recording season-best marks on bars (9.775) and floor (9.825) and adding 9.750 on beam... Hit 9.800 on beam in home dual with Sacramento State... Was a substantial contributor in USAG team final, chalking up 9.575 on bars, 9.700 on beam, 9.775 on floor... Tied with Tiffany Chan for team's RQS on beam (9.735), ranked T11th among USAG competitors... Also led team on bars (9.680 RQS)... Made All-MPSF first team on bars, second team on beam... Selected to MPSF All-Academic squad.

2003: Competed primarily as a specialist, but added vault in four meets to post four all-around scores... Averaged 9.627 in 13 meets on beam, 9.673 in 12 meets on floor... Hit 9.800 on beam at Seattle Pacific... Made all-around debut at home vs. SPU, scoring 37.950... Put up 38.425 vs. San Jose State two weeks later, posting season-best 9.350 on vault, 9.550 on bars, 9.775 on beam and 9.750 (then a career high) on floor... Hit career bests on bars (9.600) and floor (9.800) in triangular at Sacramento State.

2002: Appeared in beam lineup in seven meets, scoring season-high 9.550 at Sacramento State... Posted 9.500 on beam a week later at MPSF Championships... Scored 9.400 at California Invitational... Appeared as exhibition on floor three times, including 9.700 vs. Alaska Anchorage.

HIGH SCHOOL/CLUB: Graduated from Marin Catholic HS in 2001... Member of MEGA Gymnastics for 15 years.

PERSONAL: Born in Greenbrae, Calif.... Communication major, hopes for a career in film industry... Daughter of Robert & Daria Doherty... Both parents were professional ice skaters... Daria competed at world championships... Has one brother, Trevor (19), now a student at Humboldt State... Only premeet ritual is her chocolate-chip bagel...
