2006: Appeared in seven meets on beam, plus three exhibitions on floor exercise... Hit 9.500 in four-way meet at Cal, then posted season-best 9.750 at home vs. Air Force in early March.

HIGH SCHOOL/CLUB: Graduated from Gunn HS in 2002... Captured total of seven Central Coast Section titles, including all-around championships in 2000 and 2002... Twice named team MVP... Selected as Female Athlete of the Year as a sophomore and senior... Enjoyed highly decorated equestrian career during and since high school... Competed for Mt. Eden Fire and Sundance vaulting teams... Won American Vaulting Association national title in 2001... Finished 2nd at AVA competition in 2005... Won CVI Nitra and placed 4th at European Championships in 2003, then placed 7th (as top American) at 2004 World Championships.
PERSONAL: Born in Honolulu, Hawaii... Majoring in communication... Parents are Randy & Sue Inouye... Has two older sisters, twins Karine and Tamara (27)... Tamara played basketball at Cal, Karine played soccer at Arizona State... Tamara coached against UC Davis women's basketball, serving on the staff for Melbourne Roos club team... Best athlete she's faced is German vaulter Nadia Zulow... Lists publishing magnate Phoebe Hearst Cooke as her non-sports hero... Hopes for career as a fashion entrepreneur.
