2004: Did not compete due to injury... Voted Most Inspirational.

2003: Appeared in three meets as a vault/floor specialist before suffering season-ending injury before San Jose State meet... Made Aggie debut with 9.300 on vault, 9.575 at UCLA's Bruin Classic... Hit season-best 9.450 at Air Force's Rocky Mountain Invitational... Scored season-high 9.675 on floor and added 9.675 in exhibition on beam in home opener against Sacramento State.

ARIZONA STATE: Redshirted.

HIGH SCHOOL/CLUB: Graduated with 4.19 GPA (17th of a class of 303) from San Dimas HS in 2001... Competed for Beth & Steve Rybacki at Charter Oak Gliders in Covina for eight years, qualifying for Level 10 regionals in each of the last two... Placed 10th in all-around at regionals in 2000... Finished 3rd in state all-around competition in 1999... Voted Most Dedicated seven times.

PERSONAL: Born May 8, 1983 in Glendora, Calif.... American studies major... Daughter of Brad & Rita Kear... Oldest of three siblings, along with Casey (16) and Zak (14)... Sports heroes are the Los Angeles Lakers, non-sports hero is her physical therapist Jeff Beckendam... Hopes to become a high school teacher and, if possible, a collegiate gymnastics coach.
