2009: Sidelined by injury for most of the season... Appeared in four meets on beam, including two in exhibition... Scored 9.625 in exhibition during quad meet with Sac State/Bowling Green/New Hampshire... Earned NACGC/W Academic award.

2008: MPSF CO-CHAMPION on balance beam, tying Seattle Pacific's Anissa Madrid at 9.800... Winning mark bested her previous high of 9.650, set at home quadrangular with Sac State/San Jose State/Stanford just five days earlier... Competed in all 13 meets, solely on beam... Selected to MPSF Academic All-Conference squad.

2007: Transferred to UC Davis from Washington at start of Winter 2007 quarter... Appeared in beam lineup in nine meets... Hit season-best 9.650 in home dual with Seattle Pacific... Also had 9.625 marks at San Jose State (with Sac State) and in road dual at Sacramento State... Finished 4th among MPSF beam performers with 9.605 RQS, helped by 9.600 at conference meet.

HIGH SCHOOL/CLUB: Graduated in top five percent of her class from Tahoma HS in 2006... Member of Gymnastics Express (Auburn, Wash.) for nine years... Level 10 Regional qualifier in 2005 and 2006.

PERSONAL: Born in Castro Valley, Calif.... Majoring in design... Parents are Michikazu & Signe Tao... Has one brother, Kevin (19)... Career highlight was qualifying to Level 10 regionals... Hopes for career in graphic design, having already produced posters and promotional items as a design intern.
