SEATTLE, Wash. - Junior Nicole Doherty posted season-high marks on both uneven bars and balance beam to highlight UC Davis action in a three-team women's collegiate gymnastics meet with fellow Mountain Pacific Sports Federation members Seattle Pacific and Alaska Anchorage at the Royal Brougham Pavilion Saturday.

The Aggies scored a third-place team total of 187.650 in the meet, falling to 4-3 on the season. The Falcons won their own meet at 191.825 while the Seawolves finished second at 190.925.

UC Davis enjoyed a strong night on vault with a season-best team score of 47.900. Megan Nakagawa hit a 9.600 in the second slot of the lineup, then Julia Richards (9.575), Tiffany Chan (9.675) and Joanne Pizzo (9.625) rounded out the order with solid scores.

The Aggies added a 47.825 on beam, with Chan and Doherty sharing third place in the event at 9.750. Pizzo contributed a 9.600 score on the apparatus, just missing her season best set a week ago at UAA.

Doherty's 9.750 score on uneven bars was a bright spot for a squad that scored just 44.875 as a team. She tied Corrie McDaniel of SPU for first place on the event. Nakagawa and sophomore Mei Ling Clark led the Aggies on floor exercise with fifth-place scores of 9.700.

Dominique Ingram of UAA was a double-event winner, sharing the beam title with teammate Brianna Thomas with a 9.800 mark. She then edged SPU's Debra Huss for first place on floor exercise, turning in a 9.900 performance. Ingram added a second-place 9.7500 on vault en route to a 38.350 total to win the individual all-around.

UC Davis returns home for a dual with the Seawolves on February 13.
