DAVIS, Calif. - Junior Andi Dolinsky scored two career-best marks while freshman Tanya Ho won a pair of events to lead UC Davis to a season-high 192.725 and a meet win over Cal State Fullerton in women's collegiate gymnastics action at the Pavilion Friday in front of 737 spectators. The Titans scored 191.600 overall to finish second in the dual meet.
The Aggies improve to 4-3 for the season. The Titans drop to 6-2 overall.
Dolinsky and Ho have captured the past two Mountain Pacific Sports Federation Gymnast of the Week awards. Dolinsky matched her personal record on uneven bars with a 9.575 then popped a PR 9.850 on floor exercise to win that event. Ho tied her career-best 9.825 to win vault then matched that score to capture the balance beam. This is Ho's fifth straight meet in which she has reigned as vault winner.
Junior Michelle Kulovitz and senior Carrie Lujan each scored 38.300 in the individual all-around while Ho was third at 38.050. Senior Brandi Forte picked up the victory on bars with a 9.750 mark.
CSF senior Nicole Lim had the lone event win for Fullerton, tying Ho on beam at 9.825. Erica Ficarrotta and Britni Echeverria were a close 2-3 behind Forte on bars with scores of 9.725 and 9.700, respectively. Sophomore Jessica Tait placed third on balance beam with a 9.750 mark.
Amanda Van Horn also was a place-winner for the Titans, scoring a 9.775 on vault to finish in a three-way tie for second with Kulovitz and Lujan.
UC Davis opened with a 48.600 on vault, then turned in a season-best 48.125 on uneven bars to take a slim 96.725 to 96.675 lead at the midway point of the meet. The Titans counted one miss on floor exercise in the third rotation while the Aggies counted a fall on beam, keeping the gap at 144.550 to 144.525 entering the fourth.

The Aggies pulled away in the fourth rotation, getting a 48.175 on floor exercise to Fullerton's 47.075 on beam. Senior Carolyn Kampf led the way with a 9.725 in the leadoff spot, then Lujan, Kulovitz and Dolinsky each followed with strong scores.
UC Davis remains at home for another week, hosting Air Force on February 16.
