Box Score

BOISE, Idaho - Junior Carrie Lujan hit 9.825 on vault while junior Andi Dolinsky matched that score on floor exercise to lead UC Davis to a season-high 192.775 in a women's collegiate quadrangular meet at Boise State's Taco Bell Arena Friday evening. The Aggies' score was strong enough to claim an upset over the host Broncos, who finished third at 192.350.

No. 11 Oregon State easily won the meet with a 196.475 total while UC Davis' Mountain Pacific Sports Federation leaguemate Seattle Pacific finished fourth, just behind Boise State at 192.050.

The Aggies are now 7-6 for the season.

Dolinsky was the highest Aggie event finisher, placing fourth on floor behind the OSU tirumvirate of Mandi Rodriguez (9.875), Yuki Lamb (9.850) and Jami Lanz (9.850). In fact, the Beavers took the top three spots on all four events plus the top two in the individual all-around. Lanz, who won on vault and bars, totalled 39.575 for the meet for the all-around medal.

Lujan's score on vault capped another strong performance for UC Davis in that event. Junior Michelle Kulovitz scored 9.800, freshman Tanya Ho added a 9.775, senior Brandi Forte carded a 9.700 and senior Julia Richards hit 9.675 in the leadoff slot as the Aggies compiled a 48.775 in the event. That mark is tied for second in school history, matching the score set against Air Force three weeks prior.

Dolinsky's mark on floor exercise ended a 6-for-6 rotation for UC Davis, which posted a 48.700 in the event. Ho hit 9.775 and Lujan added a 9.750 for the Aggies, which narrowly missed a season-best mark on floor.

Ho also had UC Davis' top uneven bars mark, scoring 9.800 for sixth place in the meet. Teammate Kulovitz Dolinsky contributed a 9.725 in the event, while senior Carolyn Kampf chipped in a 9.675. Ho's bars score completed a 38.500 all-around score to share sixth place with SPU's Debra Huss. Kulovitz also competed in all four events, finishing with a 38.175 all-around score.

Boise State DeAvera Todd was the only non-OSU gymnast to crack the top three on any apparatus, tying Rodriguez with a 9.850 for third on uneven bars.

The Aggies return home to host SPU on Friday, March 9.
