Friday, Feb. 2 - STANFORD/SAN JOSE STATE/SPU, 7 p.m.

RECAP: UC Davis (3-4) finished second in its three-time home opener, scoring a 194.200... The Aggies hit 48.575 on vault, 48.800 on bars and 48.825 on beam, all tying or setting season bests, but stumbled to a 48.000 on floor... Senior Alexis Brown won the all-around (39.250) for the second consecutive meet, tying for the meet win on bars (9.850), then winning the beam outright (9.850)... This marks her 11th career meet at 39 or better, surpassing Katie Yamamura (2010-13) for the most in program history.

Freshman Kelley Hebert enjoyed a remarkably similar meet to her road performance at SPU... She scored 9.625-9.750-9.800-9.775 for a 38.950 all-around total on Friday... Two weeks prior, the human development major went 9.600-9.725-9.850-9.775 for a 38.950 total... Hebert is the first Aggie to compete as an all-arounder in each of her first three collegiate meets since Yamamura, who did so in her first five (Jan. 10-Feb. 5, 2010)... In turn, Yamamura was the first to achieve the feat since Stacey Nicolini (Jan. 11-Jan. 25, 2008)... Before Nicolini, it was Flora Bare (Jan. 16-29, 2000).

RANKINGS: UC Davis sits 48th nationally and 2nd in the MPSF with a 193.908 total average... Brown leads the conference in the all-around (39.167), bars (9.833) and beam (9.842), while sitting T2nd on floor (9.825)... Another promotion will begin with this Friday quad: the popular chain Chick-fil-A will have a concession stand in the concourse, with free meal vouchers going out to fans during the meet... Credit the staff of the new UC Davis Sports Properties for the new giveaways.

NO. 21 STANFORD (3-6) moved up two spots in the national standings after a 195.550 at Oregon State on Saturday... Six-time All-American and 2015 NCAA vault champion Elizabeth Price leads the Pac-12 Conference with a 39.669 average in the all-around... “Overall, I was very pleased with the meet. With 14 of our 24 spots being freshmen, we have ourselves positioned right where we want to be. These freshmen are figuring out things very quickly, and they’re doing that because they have a very good group of upperclassmen who are helping them along the way. Everyone is doing the things we need to do to be successful.”

“That was Roxanna’s [Agah] first time competing on floor in college. So she’s really a freshman. She didn’t compete her first two years. She’s a lot like Alyssa [Ito]. It takes time, experience and numbers. You have to hold your feet to the fire before you get comfortable. When you look at the overall lineup, including Rox, five people are brand-new. Do we have a great deal to look forward to? We absolutely do. What gives me the best feeling, as I sit here looking forward, is that this group is very talented and very driven. They want to put in the hard work, and they do that every day.”

“These next two weeks will be really important for us. We’re at home, in the Pavilion. We gave away a lot this weekend, particularly on landings, and on handstands on bars. Those are the things we can work on more comfortably at home and being in front of our crowd. We had a huge crowd on Friday, for the next two weeks we have 175 Chick-fil-A dinners. We have our T-shirt giveaways from LIFEWTR. We have a lot of fun stuff coming up, and three great teams coming in.”
