UC Davis junior Anna Shumaker earned a share of Mountain Pacific Sports Federation Gymnast of the Week honors for the period ending February 3, the league office announced on Tuesday afternoon. She split the award with Air Force junior Jessica Hanner.

Shumaker, an Alameda, Calif. native and Pacific West Gymnastics alumna, won meet titles on both vault and all-around in Friday's home dual with Seattle Pacific. She tied her career high of 9.850 on vault and narrowly missed setting a personal record with her 38.850 total. Shumaker has now scored 38.825, 38.875 and 38.850 in the all-around in the last three meets.

This is the third time UC Davis has claimed at least a co-winner for the conference's weekly award. Senior Michelle Ho won it outright on January 8, then shared it with Air Force's Jen Larsen a week later.

The Aggies return to action on February 10 for a quad meet at No. 4 UCLA with No. 25 Washington and ScholarShare Causeway Cup rival Sacramento State. Details on live audio, video and results can be found at www.ucdavisaggies.com.
