WOODLAND, Calif. - UC Davis' Michelle Kulovitz was selected as the Mountain Pacific Sports Federation Gymnast of the Week, it was announced by the league office Tuesday. Kulovitz finished second in the individual all-around in a triangular meet with Sacramento State and San Jose State on February 23, scoring a career-high 38.775 in the meet.

The junior from Anaheim Hills, Calif. also tied for first place on vault with a 9.775 mark, helping the Aggies score their seventh straight 48-plus score in that event. Kulovitz added a team-high 9.675 on balance beam and a 9.700 on floor exercise.

Kulovitz is the third UC Davis gymnast to win the award this season. Junior Andi Dolinsky and freshman Tanya Ho picked up similar honors on February 6 and January 29, respectively.

The Aggies are back in action on Friday in a quad-meet at Boise State with No. 11 Oregon State and MPSF rival Seattle Pacific.
