UC Davis gymnast Andi Dolinsky was selected as Mountain Pacific Sports Federation Gymnast of the Week for March 6, it was announced by the conference office Tuesday. This is Dolinsky's second such honor, as she won a similar award exactly one month prior.

A junior from Grand Terrace, Calif., Dolinsky enjoyed a strong two-event performance to help UC Davis score a season-high 192.775 in a quadrangular meet at Boise State Friday. She was the Aggies' highest event finisher, placing fourth on floor exercise at 9.825. Dolinsky also hit a career-best 9.725 on uneven bars.

Dolinsky was one of many outstanding showings in Friday's meet, highlighted by the Aggies' upset over the host Broncos. Junior Carrie Lujan posted a 9.825 on vault to help UC Davis score a 48.775 in the event. Freshman Tanya Ho posted 9.775 scores on both vault and floor, plus a 9.800 on bars, to compile a 38.500 all-around total. Junior Michelle Kulovitz also competed in all four events, firing a 9.800 on vault to highlight a 38.175 score.

This is the fourth Gymnast of the Week award for UC Davis. In addition to Dolinsky's first honor on February 6, Ho won the first on January 26 and Kulovitz claimed the program's third on February 27.

The Aggies return to action in a home dual against Seattle Pacific on Friday at 7 p.m. UC Davis then squares off with Sacramento State in the gymnastics version of the Causeway Classic at the Hornet's Nest Sunday.
